Have you heard of the Christian singer, Anne Wilson? I hadn’t until I was introduced to her in an amazing livestream of her where she received her Solid Gold hit plaque – for My Jesus! She seemed like such a young and beautiful Christian lady and I enjoyed watching and listening to many of her hit songs that are on the album. My Jesus – Anne’s Solid Gold hit. Great words to this song about Jesus. Wonderful smooth country sound. Great range for Anne’s voice. Dark and rich tones. Devil – Stressing the Holy Ghost is in control, the song is heavy bass and rhythm and an eerie song. Sunday Sermons – smooth country rock vibe with wonderful words about the gospel. Hey Girl – heavier country rock song with a message using the common phrase Hey Girl This House – Rock song talking about the foundation we need Mansion – Singing about the mansions awaiting Christians in heaven. Higher range vocals. Mamas – One of my favorites on the album with a very catchy melody. Good country vocals and smooth sounds. No Place Like Home – My top favorite on the album. Anne’s voice has a wonderful country vibrato and sounds like a darker Dolly Parton tone. Beautiful melody. God Thing – Rock song with country vocals. That’s What We Need – Country rock with catchy lyrics. Something about that Name – Country rock that will be a great worship song. Closer to God – Rock with country vocals in the high range.
