I don’t really have any traditions now that the kids are grown with kids of their own. When they were little, (ages 1and 2) we would get in our PJ’s and go drive around and check out all the pretty light and decorations. As they got older, we would add hot chocolate/coffee. The grandkids come by for Christmas Eve or Christmas morning open all their presents. Then they have their rounds to make with other family members.
My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the Christmas tree as a family.
My favorite tradition is having an Elf on the Shelf.
We always make a gingerbread house every year.
Our family Tradition is playing the Christmas dice game. Everyone buys gifts for the game and we roll dice and whoever gets doubles gets to choose a gift from the pile, then after all the gifts are picked, we set a timer for so long and whoever rolls doubles can steal from each other. Sometimes there are gag gifts. It is so much fun!
We usually host a gathering of family and friends on Christmas Eve.
My favorite holiday tradition is baking sugar cookies with all my adult cousins and now my children. We have been doing this with our grandmother since we were very small and have continued the tradition on even though she is no longer with us.
My favorite tradition is that our entire family gets together every Christmas Day – the only day each year that our entire family gets together.
My favorite tradition is my kids opening up their Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve. I also love making my famous lasagna on Christmas Eve too. So many memories!
It’s not a “tradition” per se, but we always go to Mass for Christmas (and, every week, for that matter). Thanks and God bless!
Our tradition is to take beautiful photos in our downtown area. The city always decorates and the huge Christmas tree is beautiful.
We love driving around to see neighborhood Christmas lights!
Our town has an annual sing-a-long each December. We open in prayer, then the local high school chorale performs before all the attendees sing Chistmas carols together. We pass around candles for Silent Night, and then everyone enjoys a cup of hot cocoa and homemade cookies. It’s such a sweet community evening!
We have a few traditions but one of them is making homemade Eggnog on Christmas Eve.

One of my favorite traditions is that the night we decorate a tree we make a night of it with movies, music and finger foods for dinner. My youngest is 18 and still looks forward to this night.
We always do a trick gift. It might be a gift wrapped in a box several times or wrapped several times. We might put gifts in different packaging etc

I would say that our only holiday tradition is driving to Niceville to see the beautiful Christmas light display that a family does in their yard.
my family always gathered at the elders place to have a traditional dinner but we all celebrated with gifts at our own houses on xmas. anymore nobody wants to do it everyone diets n work and are super busy. things sure have changed.

Well, later on Thanksgiving night we have turkey sandwiches while playing Christmas music or watching the first Christmas movie of the season. We start decorating as well. It was more exciting when my girls were little though.

My grandmother and I always got each other a “special” gift for Christmas. We did this every year for 30+ years.Sadly, She passed away in 2020… So since then, my mom and I have picked up the tradition… Last year was our first year and hopefully we have many many years to go.
