Shop Early
Black Friday is the day when many people start their Christmas shopping. This year, that might be too late. Everywhere you turn, the advice given to consumers is, SHOP EARLY! Many items may be in short supply and electronics and toys may be hard to find. This is why so many stores and online stores have started Black Friday sales now.
The Frugal Grandmom Codes
I’m adding Black Friday sales on my Holiday Shopping page so that you can click and go directly to any sales that you’re interested in. Discount codes are available here, too.
Shop Online
If you’re like most people, you love shopping online. If you take your list to the web you can save even more using shopping apps. I love shopping through Rakuten so that I can get cash back on most of my holiday purchases. You can also use extensions on Chrome, such as Honey. It will get you all the extra codes and discounts that are available.
Check Return Policy
Before you buy anything, do your research: What is the return policy? What is the shipping cost and time? Compare prices. Many stores last year weren’t offering free shipping, so you need to know how much this will add to your total purchase.
Loyalty Program
Join the stores loyalty or rewards program. This can get you extra coupons or even cash rewards.

Budget
Stick to your budget. Make a list of each gift recipient and plan how much you can spend on each gift before you shop.
Security
When shopping online, you’ll be asked to create accounts. Make sure to create strong passwords and make sure that the site is reputable. Some sites (including Facebook ads), don’t deliver or they may take months to arrive.
Emails
Use those pop-ups. When you arrive at an online site, you’ll often see a pop-up promising you a discount off your first purchase. You’ll be signing up for their email list, which can be a source of many future discount codes coming right into your inbox.
Read Blogs
Follow blogs like The Frugal Grandmom. I work hard to bring you discount codes and reviews so that you can see some great new products. There are also tons of giveaways so that you could win all kinds of things. You can read my review of the Neato Robotic vacuums. They ship free and you can get a 30-day risk free trial. Here are some coupon codes that can save you plenty of money:

Save on free shipping with code FREESHIP on all orders from 10/24/21 – 1/2/22
Save 10% with code NEATOAFFILIATE10 sitewide until 12/31.
The Neato D8, Neato D9, and Neato D10 have special features and you can compare them to see which vacuum would meet your needs. Whether you live in a small apartment, medium sized home, or large home, there is a Neato for you. They can all be programed and scheduled with Alexa and Google. These can make your home smarter and your floors cleaner.
Electronics, laptops, and televisions are usually going to have steep discounts on Black Friday. Since Walmart and Amazon have started their Black Friday deals early, it’s a good idea to go ahead and make your purchase now. I hope that you find great deals this year and enjoy finding gifts for those you care about.
