This week is the 10th Anniversary of the movie Courageous. When this movie was released 10 years ago, I didn’t get to see it. But, now I had a chance to see the re-mastered version. On September 24 this new version will open in theaters and you will have a chance to watch all the updated scenes and extra ending.

The original movie was about four policemen who were great at their jobs, but being fathers wasn’t so easy. But this movie focuses on where these four men are 10 years later. How will they handle a crisis? Will they follow their faith and come through well?

If you saw the original movie, you’ll notice lots of improvements in the sound and bonus segments. My family and I enjoyed the drama as we are big fans of crime shows. This movie is clean, but there are discussions of crime.

This film has great potential to make a big impact on families and especially fathers. This is another great film from the Kendrick Brothers, who have been very successful with War Room, Overcomer, and Show Me The Father. After seeing Show Me The Father, I’ll be eager to see all of their movies.
