Welcome to the review of Eleanor’s Bench. This movie is about a tough-on-the-outside judge who works hard to bring real justice in her courtroom. The judge started life in a poor neighborhood. When she returns there to check on her aging father, she struggles with feelings that these people also need justice.
You can find this great new series on Pure Flix. I’ve been delighted watching the wonderful acting and great story. In this series, the judge is trying to make a difference in the lives of the young people that fall into the juvenile justice system.
“Eleanor’s Bench” is full of important lessons about following God’s calling, practicing self control, learning from your past and discovering that we are enough and deserving of God’s love.
Eleanor has a panic attack in episode 4 and we see how trauma can surface as uncommon and irrational behavior.
I really enjoyed watching these episodes, even though there were many moments that brought tears to my eyes.
