After blogging for 7 years, my new goal was to increase traffic to my site. I love to write posts and share reviews with my dear readers, but I wanted to increase the number of readers. I’m thrilled to be a part of the 30-day Challenge with Russell Brunson that will help me by giving me key strategies to grow my blog traffic. The new book: Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, has all the tools I need to meet my goal.
The book’s author is Russell Brunson. This best-selling author co-launched ClickFunnels, which became the fastest-growing non-venture backed software company in the world. ClickFunnels is a $100M software company.
When I started reading this new book, I was pretty amazed with all the information. The information that I was uncovering was all new to me. I had many wrong ideas about blogging and how it really worked. I liked writing content, but didn’t know how to find readers who could actually benefit from it. In Traffic Secrets, I began to learn that I didn’t need to find all the customers, I just needed to find the ones that were my people.
The book makes it clear that there is a Dream 100 for every website. The Dream 100 is the top 100 websites in my niche that I want to have a business or friendship relationship with. Russell Brunson takes you step-by-step through the process of finding your Dream 100 and then what to do when you find them.
Traffic Secrets has three main sections. The first section is about the Dream 100. We are shown how to find them and how to get access to them. The second section is about how to direct readers into funnels. Using social media and your blog we can lead customers to our product. In the third section there are techniques described that will help us grow our traffic without social media. Each section of the book gives so many ways to encourage and direct us to grow.
One thing that I love about Traffic Secrets is the pictures. They are really just basic diagrams using stick people and graphing. I’m a very visual person, so I can understand the concepts much better by looking at ideas portrayed in graphic organizers.
I’ve often wondered if I should stop blogging. I’ve been disappointed in the amount of traffic that comes my way. Like me, thousands of businesses have failed because they just couldn’t find the secret of attracting customers. I’ve begun to implement some of these techniques every day and plan to move forward with them all.
The 20 Secrets in this book will give you techniques to use on every platform that will work now and in the future. There are growth hacks of every type and this book teaches you how to best use them on all social media platforms, websites, and blogs.
I love the last part of the book: Conclusion. In this section the author wraps up his ideas well so that you can see what to do first. Focusing on the main purpose of his techniques and how to start using them is very helpful. Traffic Secrets The Underground Playbook for Filling your Websites and Funnels with your Dream Customers has me convinced that these wonderful secrets can grow my blog traffic. This last book in Russell Brunson’s Trilogy collection has me eager to read the other two books.
