Christmas 2021 is such an exciting time. It’s a busy time for grandparents. I’ve been rushing about buying gifts for the grandchildren. It’s so much fun to get them toys and books! We also can’t wait to travel and see everyone!
For many seniors, like my aging parents, this time of year can also be a challenge. The extra errands and seasonal to do’s require special support. Having a quality caregiver can be a blessing during the busy holiday season – which is why I was excited to learn more about Comfort Keepers.
Comfort Keepers strives to elevate the human spirit every day and help make seniors’ lives brighter, safer and more enjoyable – all from the comfort of home. And now more than ever we must understand what our aging loved ones have gone through during these challenging times, being alone more often and not being able to see people in person.
Many seniors experience fear and anxiety at home. Often seniors fear going out and so they become more and more isolated. They may focus on all the things they have lost, but freedom can be gained with Comfort Keepers. These caregivers can take the senior out and also provide times for visiting. Having a great caregiver can inspire the senior each day to keep living life to the fullest.

Comfort Keepers works to help seniors live satisfying and independent lives in their own home. They work to keep them happy. They try to treat the senior as if they are a member of their own family, providing dignity and great care. Comfort Keepers can run errands, shop for groceries, provide companionship and personal care, and complete other tasks that help seniors stay at home to avoid illness. In addition, caregivers help seniors stay connected to their loved ones and keep seniors engaged and active physically, mentally and socially.

I’m a caregiver for both my parents who are 81. My mom is immobile and my Dad is still recovering from being in the hospital 4 different times because he had Covid and was really sick and had to learn to walk again. Thankfully he’s doing better and is walking again with a cane. So glad to have him home.
Bless you for helping them. Have a Merry Christmas.
Comfort Keepers sounds amazing! What a great way to help elders stay independent while still getting the help that they need.
