Official Trailer: Paul’s Promise

Disclosure: MomentumInfluencers has distriubted the official trailer for affiliates to share with our readers.

Set in the peak of the 1960s Civil Rights movement, “Paul’s Promise” is the inspiring true story of Paul Holderfield, former racist firefighter-turned-pastor who started one of the first integrated churches in the American South. It’s one man’s journey to hope and healing during a troubled time in our Nation’s history that resulted in one man’s decision to serve God and stand up to injustice – a story that continues to make a huge impact on the community to this day.

As a little girl in Mississippi in the early 1960’s, I have memories of segregated waiting rooms and water fountains. Even as a tiny person, I knew that this was wrong. When I entered first grade our school was integrated without any problems. I know now that wasn’t the case everywhere and feel a strong hatred for racism, which is still a terrible problem in our country. I look forward to watching this movie.

  1. Wow! Paul’s Promise sounds amazing and seems like such a great storyline. My grandparent grew up in the racial South in Georgia when they grew up.. the stories they told were always so mind blowing to hear. Thankful for the way the country has developed over time, but we still have a ways to go!
