MY REVIEW

Calling all readers age 8-12! If you have a child this age, they will be shouting and laughing with this graphic novel series for kids. I’m sure that they’ll say, “Hey mom, listen to this!” The characters are written so vividly. Reading the text makes you feel like you’re watching a movie.

We’re introduced to the Blobs in Volume 1: Crash Land! The Blob’s home planet is doomed to blow up. One day and emergency announcement tells them that they have just hours. to escape. Cadetski is the first to speak. He is a young blob who has failed to enroll in the Blob Force.

He gets a ticket for his best friend and himself and runs toward the escape pod area. When they meet the other characters who will ride with them, they slowly become acquainted. Unfortunately, their pod is about to crash into an unfriendly planet.

King Neptune is proud of his Doomsicle collection, though he knows that there are more to be discovered. His top military leader is Lord Zord, who is very tough and very loyal to the King. Cadetski is captured and all his friends plan how to help him escape.

As they free him, they must flee from the guards. Because the Blobs called for a rescue pod, it is their way of escape. The first volume ends with a “To Be Continued.”

In Volume II, the Blobs are captives who have escaped from King Neptune. They stole the King’s most important tools, the Doomsicles. These dangerous tools are sought out by the king and all the other bad guys in the galaxy.

Unfortunately, the crew didn’t know what Wilby had brought on board. Now, they were flying home to Planet Splotch. Their parents greeted them excitedly as they disembarked from the escape pod. They had to tell everything to the Blob General.

Children will go crazy over this book, and the hilarious black and white comic-style photos. funny adventure books. There are four more funny adventure books on the way, to keep children laughing and cheering.
