Skincare is so important! At any age there are so many benefits with exfoliation.
Many people pay a lot of money for a professional exfoliating treatment. This can be a luxurious time to let someone boost your skin, but it’s something that any man or woman can do at home.
Here are the best reasons why you should exfoliate your skin.
1. Removal of Dead Skin
Although washing your skin will remove most of the surface dirt, it may not clean everything. Exfoliating will keep your pores clean because of the process of removing dead and dry skin. This process can be done manually or chemically.
2. Glowing Skin
We all want our skin to look fresh and younger. When we remove dead skin there will be increased skin renewal, which will produce a “glowing complexion “and younger appearance.
3. Preventing Acne
Acne and other blemishes can be found on other areas of the body besides the face. Acne, blackheads, and whiteheads are unflattering and unhealthy. Exfoliating the skin will keep the pores clean and free of dirt and bacteria. It may help to use an exfoliating cream and an exfoliating brush to create an abrasive motion. The Coolagn Back and Face Scrubber are perfect for use when you want to exfoliate your face and body. I love the backscrubber because it makes it easy to get to my back. It works great in the shower and can also be used with body wash, shower gel, and bar soap.
If you decide to exfoliate your face make sure to be gentle with your skin. If your skin is oily you can add a chemical skin treatment to clean more intensely. With older skin like mine, the skin is very dry so I choose to use a creamy treatment to preserve the skin oils. And, always moisturize afterwards with a moisturizer that is skin-type appropriate.
