Are you enjoying winter? I love it when the snow falls, but don’t like it when the temperatures get below 20. Brrr. Thankfully, we don’t have severe temperatures often in my area. This time of year is different, because we’re all trying to recover from Christmas (mentally and financially).
Although I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions, I do feel the brightness of starting a new year. That makes me feel rejuvenated, in a way. It’s also the time of year when I try to cut back on expenses.

I like to look at snow softly falling outside my window like looking at a shaken snow globe. I also like watching the ice form on Lake Erie, ponds, creeks and waterfalls.
I like to lounge on the couch in front of our pellet stove, reading & drinking hot cocoa!

I live near the coast of South Carolina, so we rarely see snow. If we do have a snow day we go outside and play in it and take lots of pictures!!
