Give The Gift of Memories With These 4 Great Gift Ideas

Choosing gifts can be tricky at times and being able to find just that right present for your loved ones can help you to make the celebration that little bit extra special. But the fact remains that everyone is different, and what is one person’s perfect gift could be someone’s idea of a waste of money. But the good news is in 2023; there is a more significant emphasis on gifting experiences and memories over physical gifts. We live in a world of excess where we can buy anything we want at the click of a button or the tap of a screen, but memories aren’t as easy to collect. And this is why you can really go the extra mile by giving something memorable this year. Concerts One of the best ways to give experiences and create memories is to provide the gift of music. Music has a way of pulling people together, and concerts are no exception. Whether it’s 100 people coming together for the love of music or an artist or 10,000 people, there is nothing quite like experiencing live music, especially by your favorite artists. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts hosts some spectacular artists throughout the year and is a great place to start looking for your next musical experience. Memberships Memberships at someone’s favorite place means they can visit whenever they want without worrying about the cost. You can buy memberships for a range of different locations and activities. From their favorite theme park to a local museum, cinema, or even a club, they can partake in their favorite pastime without paying. This way, you can allow them to experience the gift that keeps on giving time after time. Vacation Whether it’s one night or a two-week-long trip away, a vacation can give our loved ones a memorable time and the chance to get away for a while. Of course, this could probably mean stretching the budget, but even a night away at a hotel out of their local area can be a welcome gift and provide someone with memories they can cherish for many years to come. Maybe you can pair the trip with their interests, such as booking a hiking trail, learning to scuba dive or even a volunteering vacation where they get to support charity work they have a vested interest in. Lessons Has the recipient always wanted to learn something or expand on their skills? Why not present them with a course or lessons to do just that? The beauty of this type of gift is you are paying attention to their interest and are encouraging them to pursue it more. It can be cooking classes, learning a new language, learning to play an instrument, or something exhilarating like skydiving or white water rafting. Conclusion Making memories is something you can keep with you for your entire lifetime, and being able to give someone the chance to make memories they wouldn’t usually be able to do can be an incredibly gratifying thing to do. So next time you are struggling to find a gift for a loved one, why not consider giving an experience over a physical gift?

Faith And A Romantic Comedy

Disclosure: Many thanks to Pure Flix for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinionsare 100% my own. PureFlix has created a beautiful and touching Christian Romantic Comedy in Sun Moon! I believe that this is my favorite movie on PureFlix. You’ll smile and laugh when you see how the movie starts with Kelsey getting left at the altar. As she rethinks her life, God brings a missionary family to her church. She talks with them and is offered a semester teaching english in the academy in Taiwan. While Kelsey just wanted to leave town, God was in this decision. My favorite scenes are when the Taiwanese children were in her classroom. She taught them a great deal, but they also taught her many things that would change her life. There is a perfect blend of humor, romance, and faith. Just because there is a romance, this is a fine movie for children. They will learn about children in Taiwan and laugh along with all the silliness. It’s a refreshing movie and I hope that you’ll join PureFlix so that you can watch this movie, as well as the many other great series and movies. Even though Kelsey was given free reign in her teaching, she felt awkward in this new place. Everything was hard but she was making friends. I recommend this movie and hope that you will watch the movie on PureFlix. You can have a free trial of 7 days. You’ll love it! Watch PureFlix May 5th Sun Moon was a charming movie, filled with innocence, laughter, and love. I recommend this movie, because it clearly illustrates the verse; Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Giveaway One winner will receive a 3-Month Subscription to PureFlix streaming of wholesome movies and family series. This Christian movie is on PureFlix, as is many of the other movies and programs I’ve reviewed in the past. a Rafflecopter giveaway @copyright, Lisa Ehrman

Waste Not, Want Not: Simple Ways To Create Flavorful Meals With Leftovers

We need to talk about food. Did you know that about one-third of all food produced in the world goes to waste? That’s right, a whopping one-third. It’s a shocking statistic, isn’t it? And it’s not just a waste of food; it’s also a waste of resources, time, and money. Not to mention the impact it has on the environment. Or that there are people around the world going without while food continues to go to waste.  So, what can we do about it? Well, one simple solution is to use our leftovers to create new and delicious meals. Trust me; it’s not as difficult as you may think. Image by Sarah Chai via Pexels Storing  First things first – storage. In order to use leftovers effectively, they need to be stored appropriately. No throwing them in the fridge and forgetting about them. Instead, store them in airtight containers labeled with dates so you know when they were put there. Otherwise, they might go bad before you realize they exist and cause serious health risks. And nobody wants that. Another tip is to freeze your leftovers if you’re not going to use them within a few days. This way, they’ll stay fresh for a longer period, and it can help stretch your budget. Plus, it’s handy to have some pre-cooked meals in the freezer for those busy days when you don’t have time to cook from scratch. Repurposing  Let’s move on to repurposing leftovers. This is where things get really exciting! There’s so much you can do with leftover food. From turning chicken into salad or soup to even using vegetables to create stir frys, frittatas, or omelets; there’s nothing you can’t turn into something tasty. But leftovers don’t just need to be eaten as they come. Think about how you can transform them into something entirely different. For instance, leftover spaghetti can be turned into a spaghetti pie, and leftover mashed potatoes can be turned into potato pancakes. The key is to be creative and experiment with different flavor combinations. Ideas Now, we know what you’re thinking. This all sounds great, but what can I actually make with my leftovers? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Here are some recipe ideas to get you started: Leftover Chili Mac And Cheese: Mix together leftover chili with cooked macaroni and top with shredded cheese. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Pair with chopped Mexican salad with cilantro lime dressing for out-of-this-world flavors. Turkey And Cranberry Panini: Spread cranberry sauce on two slices of bread. Layer leftover turkey and cheese on top, and grill in a panini press until golden brown and crispy. Simple, easy, tasty. What’s not to love? Vegetable Stir-Fry: Saute leftover vegetables in a hot pan with some oil and soy sauce. Add leftover rice and cook until heated through. Serve with extra soy sauce and sesame seeds. Make sure to heat rice through properly to avoid a nasty bug! Ham And Cheese Quiche: Mix together leftover ham, cheese, eggs, and milk in a pie crust. Bake in the oven until golden brown and set. If you like making meals in advance, pastry is something that’s great to do in bulk, then freeze. Then you can whip it out whenever you feel like a quiche.  Chicken Pot Pie: Got some leftover pastry from your quiche? No problem. Mix together leftover chicken, vegetables, and gravy in a pie crust. Bake in the oven until the crust is golden brown and crispy. The perfect meal to warm your cockles.  Conclusion There you have it, folks! Waste not, want not. It’s as simple as that. By using your leftovers, you can save money, reduce food waste, and create delicious meals that everyone will love. Don’t be afraid to get creative and experiment with different flavors and ingredients. The possibilities are endless!  So, next time you’re thinking of throwing away food, stop a second and consider. How can I make this into a new and exciting recipe? You might even surprise yourself.
