How To Add Traditional Christmas Decorations To Your Home

Disclosure: Sponsored post. One weather house was provided for me to review. All opinions are my own.

I love giving and receiving new Christmas decorations and ornaments each year. Although I have numerous boxes of decorations, I love to add something new and special to my collection. There’s nothing more cheerful and heart-warming than a home decoration that brings a smile to the faces of my family members. I especially love to amaze my grandchildren with an item that catches their eye.

Traditional ornaments and decorations often originated in Germany (we think of nutcrackers and figurines). I was so excited when I found that I could receive and review a weather house in the traditional German style. This particular weather house is manufactured in the Black Forest of Germany.

I received my German weather house from ERZGEBIRGE.UK. which ship worldwide. This is great for those of us in the US because we can now get these beautiful Christmas ornaments and decoration easily. I think that you’ll love selecting items for your home or to give as gifts. There are so many varieties of prices! And, they’re marked well below the retail price.

The weather house I received is in traditional Christmas colors: German Black Forest Weather House . The weather houses come in every color combination imaginable. They have a very neutral color combination and even have modern colors, such as neon green or hot pink.

Weather houses work like this: There is a gut string inside, which reacts to all changes in the air humidity. Depending on whether the air is dry or humid, the gut string changes its position and twists more or less, so that the female turns outside when it is dry and the male, when it is humid.

There are also tons of Nutcrackers for sale. These are also shipped worldwide and you can find almost any style and color combination in their Nutcracker collection. You’ll love them all and will want more than one!

I love all the ornaments and figurines. These help to decorate your home for Christmas as well as make wonderful gift items. Children and adults will love the little animal figurines. The nativity set is minimalistic and the little Wippel Germany Teeters are adorable and come in different colors.

These are just some of the wonderful items that you can find on this site. They also carry: music boxes, candle arches, grandfather clocks and mantle clocks, incense smokers, Christmas candlestick holders, and beautiful lantern kits. I hope that you’ll visit this site to see what items could make your home more beautiful this year.

  1. I collect the German Nutcrackers and have ever since my parents gave me one when I was 16. I have all sorts of different ones and sizes. Some we keep up thru the year. I do not have storage space for each one. My husband has indulged me and given me some for Christmas in the years we have been married.

  3. I like the Erzgebirge candle arch scenes. The Easter bunnies are cute, too. My favorite is the male bunny holding a wind wheel. I enjoyed watching their video about mechanical cuckoo clocks.
