August is watermelon month. Growing up, I experienced many watermelon cuttings. The best place to enjoy ice-cold watermelon is outside on a picnic table. The reason I say that is, watermelon juice is so sticky. It gets everywhere when cutting and eating the watermelon. So, after you eat watermelon outdoors, using the water hose to wash everything and everyone off is a great idea.
