From my family to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas! May your day be filled with warmth, love, and thankfulness. May you enjoy the fellowship of your family and friends. May your gifts bring you an attitude of gratefulness. May your heart be filled with peace. Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. He is my savior and I am blessed beyond measure because of His love for me. Whether my Christmas day brings me material gifts or not, I’m thankful for the wonderful gifts in my life. My husband and children have given me years of happiness. Now, I also have a grandchild to love! Every other gift in life is just icing on the cake. There’s nothing like having Christmas cookies! We fell in love with cookies when we were very young and our love has only grown over the years. Cookies often come with memories. What are some of the memories of Christmas that you might associate with a particular cookie? I’ve searched and created this round-up of recipes from some of the best baking websites out there. I hope you’ll find some that you want to try or are inspired to bake your favorite recipe. Chewy White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies The flavors of Christmas have to include cranberries and chocolate. These cookies look as beautiful as they taste. Alton’s Chocolate Coconut Balls The ingredients are chocolate, coconut, macadamia nuts, condensed milk and almond extract. You know that will be awesome! Buckeye Balls If you love peanut butter and chocolate, you’ll love these easy and yummy balls that look wonderful on any cookie platter. Christmas Candy Cane Cookies These childhood favorites take a few more steps than some cookies, but the finished product is worth it. Gingerbread Cookies These adorable cookies are always on a cookie platter. This recipe even gives you advice on the molasses you choose. Decorated Christmas Cutout Cookies A favorite cookie among children! Whether decorated simply or fancy, they’re always cute! Don’t forget to chill the dough. Classic Thumbprint Cookies These fancy looking cookies aren’t hard to make, but are impressive to look at and yummy to eat. I have made them with a dark chocolate center, but this recipe calls for raspberry seedless jam. Chocolate Peppermint Cookies Want an easy and beautiful cookie? These use prepared cookie dough to make the preparation quicker. Soft and Thick Snickerdoodles These soft classic cookies can even be made ahead or frozen to make less work for you when the special day comes. Scrape-A-Round Clears The Snow

Disclosure: Product was supplied for review. All opinions are 100% my own. Snow is falling now and I finally have the chance to review my Scrape-A-Round! I was given a 3 pack of Scrape-A-Round snow and ice scrapers to review. I let Hubby use one this morning to easily get the snow off of the car windows and windshield. Using the Scrape-A-Round was simple and when he scraped the snow, it left a clean window. There were no streaks. He didn’t have to go over it and over it. In the past it took a lot more work to get the snow off. We’re very pleased with the Scrape-A-Round. Just like you’ve seen before, you can also enjoy cleaning your windshield the easy way. I like the large coverage (18 inches) of the scraper and the circle shape makes it fast to move over the window surface. The shape curves over the window, too. I have arthritis, and have found that the round shape makes it less painful, because you don’t have to bend and press hard with the wrist motion. This could also help you if you suffer with carpel tunnel. The Scrape-A-Round will get your car windshield and windows cleaner so that your driving in severe weather will be safer. Joanna Forest’s Family Musical Adventure

The light soprano voice of Joanna Forest is perfect as she sings the lullaby from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: Hushabye Mountain. If you’ve been lucky enough to watch this movie with your children, you’ll get chill-bumps as you listen to this lovely version. I’m thankful to be asked to review the new CD from Joanna Forest. As a classically trained musician myself, I loved the variety of performances on her newest album. Joanna Forest is a classical crossover artist and is an award-winning performer. Joanna Forest began her career as a classical crossover artist in 2014, and had her first solo album in 2017, that went to No. 1. She has sung in many events, on television, and the West End in London. Her new CD, The Rhythm of Life has a theme of “exploring a day in the life of a child”. This family-friendly cd is wonderful to share with your children and children of all ages. The music was recorded in London at Angel Studios. Joanna sings many beautiful solos. She’s chosen some of the most lovely melodies to convey emotions and actions that a child might experience during a normal day. There are wonderful duets and orchestral performances, too. You’ll recognize many of the tunes, from popular movies and theatre: Hushabye Mountain I’d Like To Teach the World to Sing Let’s Go Fly a Kite Food, Glorious Food When You Wish Upon a Star I also loved the orchestral production of Clair de Lune. This was gorgeous, and a wonderful way to introduce your children to Debussy. But, all the music isn’t classical. You’ll love the popular stylings of Greatest Day and Rhythm of Life. The children’s choir and voices add so much warmth and heart to the album.
