This month starts children thinking of Halloween and they’re talking about their costumes. Many of them will be begging their parents for costumes and decorations. All children are looking forward to eating candy. There will be lots of festivals for fall and Halloween. Churches will be having fall festivals and trunk-or-treat.

What will your family plan this month. I will probably put some fall flowers in a pot on my front porch, with a pumpkin or two. I don’t carve my pumpkins, but just enjoy looking at them as part of a decoration group. Our children are grown, but I always buy a little candy in case neighborhood children stop by. We usually only have one or two children.
