Last week I previewed Season 1 of Vindication on Pure Flix. This streaming television show is a crime drama that gets you hooked on the storyline. Gary Travis is the detective at the center of the series. He has some interesting co-workers and his family is always giving him something to worry about.

This week I’m previewing Season 2, Episode 4. The episode is entitled, Perspectives. The program opens with an old farmer who is filling his tractor’s gas tank while he smokes an engine. In the background are two Confederate battle flags that he has hung in the barn.
His wife, Becky, is volunteering at the prison to help the ladies spiritually. She has many discouraging moments there, but then finds that Gary’s estranged mother is incarcerated. Doris acts very sweet to Becky, but she ran off and left Gary when he was a child and never was a mother to him. Although she wants to see Gary, he is not interested at all. Becky seems very naïve that she can get the two of them together.
She is secretly giving money into her account at the prison. Doris then asks Becky to help a male prisoner by letting him live with the Travis family after he gets out of prison. Becky goes to visit him. What will she do next?

Meanwhile, Gary and his new partner Tre, (who is African American) go to help the farmer. He has reported his tractor missing. Then the farmer pulls a rifle on the Tre. How will the show resolve this racist farmer’s actions? Watch Season 2 to find out what will happen next.
Vindication is a unique crime drama series that alters the perception of faith-based entertainment. Detective Travis (Todd Terry, Breaking Bad) has spent 15 years solving cases in the small town of East Bank, Texas. In Season 2, the Travis family and the police detectives have new crimes to solve and new adventures at home.
You can watch Vindication and many other programs from a faith-based perspective on Pure Flix. You can start a free 7-day trial HERE.
