Not long ago I wrote about Pure Flix and how they offered great programing for the family. It’s been so much fun to watch some of the wholesome television on their streaming service. I’ve just finished streaming Season 1 of the show, Vindication.

Vindication is a crime series where Detective Travis solves crimes. He has his trainee Kris by his side. And, the series focuses a great deal on Det. Travis’s family. His wife and daughter live with him. He’s a typical police detective, who works very long hours and is passionate about getting the bad guys.

This series is not one to share with young children. The crimes include sex trafficking, rape, and other adult topics. There isn’t any actual nudity, sex scenes, or gore shown.

The shows are really interesting and move quickly with all the action and drama. Each episode builds through the season with it’s Christian content. At first there are a few comments about prayer. As the season goes along, there are more and more conversations about God, prayer, and relationships with God.

I really enjoyed the Vindication series because I’m a big fan of crime dramas. It was nice to watch one that didn’t have cursing. Each show had a solved crime, but also a person who changed their ways. That’s not common in crime dramas. So, the Pure Flix television was a refreshing change!
