My best parenting advice is to hold true to what you know about your children and don’t let people manipulate you into doing things you don’t want to do. Trust your instincts!

Rita Leonard · February 16, 2022 at 9:32 am

Just a lot of love and patience

Polly Hall · February 16, 2022 at 11:55 am

Parenting advice, that’s a hard one, I guess just do what feels right and works.

tammy ta · February 16, 2022 at 12:34 pm

My best parenting advice is to take help when offered. For yourself, for your baby, for your household etc…

Debbie P · February 16, 2022 at 12:57 pm

Sometimes you just have to let the baby cry and not fuss with them.

Piroska · February 16, 2022 at 1:33 pm

Don’t ask for advice. Listen to your gut feeling. Unless it’s your mother’s advice. You can listen to her advice, but don’t have to follow it.

clynsg · February 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm

Babies may not come with instructions, but they are really pretty good at letting you know what they need, if you pay attention.

Laurie Nykaza · February 16, 2022 at 2:01 pm

I always said sleep when baby sleeps its so difficult when you dont get enough sleep.

Tracy Robertson · February 16, 2022 at 3:10 pm

Don’t be afraid to accept help from family and friends while the baby is small! Congratulations!

Ron Ablang · February 16, 2022 at 4:35 pm

New Mommies should synchronize their sleep schedule the same as the baby’s. When baby sleeps, Mommy should too.

Lindsey · February 16, 2022 at 4:50 pm

I never give parenting advice!

Adriane · February 16, 2022 at 5:20 pm

I’m not a parent, but I WAS once a child – spend as much time together as you can and appreciate the small moments that make beautiful memories

Jon Heil · February 16, 2022 at 5:25 pm

Heck dont give into too many kids with being spoiled. Can always say no.

wendy hutton · February 16, 2022 at 5:47 pm

sleep when baby sleeps, don;t be afraid to ask for help, its a learning process

Sarah L · February 16, 2022 at 6:58 pm

Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
Thanks for the contest.

Linda K · February 17, 2022 at 1:58 pm

Enjoy every age – it goes by too fast.

Natalie · February 17, 2022 at 2:20 pm

My advice is to set limits and expectations and be consistent with your disciplining.

sherry1969 · February 17, 2022 at 8:42 pm

I don’t have any children but I know that my sisters always appreciated any help they could get.

Amber Lee Kolb · February 18, 2022 at 7:16 pm

Give yourself a break! Don’t feel like you have to have a spotless house with a new baby. Some things can wait so you can have a little bit of time for you to relax and recover.

Kim Avery · February 21, 2022 at 6:59 pm

Soak up all the cuddles you can. Rest and don’t stress!

Michael Coovert · February 22, 2022 at 5:49 pm

My best parenting advice is to always make time for yourself. It is very important not to lose yourself or it can make you very resentful.

Michael Coovert · February 22, 2022 at 5:51 pm

Jeanna Massman · February 23, 2022 at 12:10 am

My advice is to filter the advice you receive. Take what feels right to you and ignore the rest. Every baby is different.

Raven Randall · February 24, 2022 at 11:59 pm

Always listen to your kids, I mean really listen.

ae Minx · February 27, 2022 at 3:29 pm

My best advice. Take a few minutes away for yourself each day. you need the break. Don’t feel guilty about it. Even if it’s just 10 minutes to yourself to walk around outside, any type of break helps

Rosanne · February 28, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Sleep when the baby sleeps, give them their baths in the evening to relax them so they sleep better

JEANETTE H SHEETS · March 1, 2022 at 7:46 pm

let others help you & take care of yourself .

Deb Pelletier · March 7, 2022 at 11:05 pm

Get as many cat naps as you can. When baby sleeps you sleep.

Cynthia Brooks · March 9, 2022 at 11:13 am

Be positive minded, but don’t let your positivity make you forget about feeling healthy so you don’t let that side go dormant. Get your hair done once in awhile or something that makes you feel good. Pass that healthy fun side to your kids. Create a few simple weekly traditions from toddlerhood to teenage hood.

Rose Santuci-Sofranko · March 12, 2022 at 9:34 pm

Congrats! I’m not a parent (sadly) but my best advice is just to love and teach them by example not to be a bully! Thanks and God Bless!

Aleksandra Nearing · March 13, 2022 at 7:09 pm

Sleep schedule! Get your infant on one as soon as possible

Rita Wray · March 15, 2022 at 9:28 am

Even on bad days remember one day you’ll look back and wish for just one more day with your little one. They grow up too fast.

Juca · March 15, 2022 at 4:11 pm
