  1. Don’t ask for advice. Listen to your gut feeling. Unless it’s your mother’s advice. You can listen to her advice, but don’t have to follow it.

  2. I’m not a parent, but I WAS once a child – spend as much time together as you can and appreciate the small moments that make beautiful memories

  3. Give yourself a break! Don’t feel like you have to have a spotless house with a new baby. Some things can wait so you can have a little bit of time for you to relax and recover.

  4. My best parenting advice is to always make time for yourself. It is very important not to lose yourself or it can make you very resentful.

  6. My best advice. Take a few minutes away for yourself each day. you need the break. Don’t feel guilty about it. Even if it’s just 10 minutes to yourself to walk around outside, any type of break helps

  7. Be positive minded, but don’t let your positivity make you forget about feeling healthy so you don’t let that side go dormant. Get your hair done once in awhile or something that makes you feel good. Pass that healthy fun side to your kids. Create a few simple weekly traditions from toddlerhood to teenage hood.

  8. Even on bad days remember one day you’ll look back and wish for just one more day with your little one. They grow up too fast.
