Ah, today is the first day of Spring. I hope that you’re having lovely Spring weather today. I’m sure that we are all ready to decorate for warmer weather. Before long, we’ll be able to pack up our winter coats. When I look outside at the green grass, the newness of the season is exhilarating. We just celebrated St Patrick’s Day and green is a great color for March.

I was so delighted to open my newest Gramma In A Box! Inside this month’s box I found 12 sugar cookies, frostings, sprinkles, and a couple of toys. The colors of green, white, orange, and yellow are perfect for Spring and for the St Patrick’s Day theme. This box made me smile all the while I was decorating the cookies.

The cookie shapes were an Celtic Cross, Leprechaun hat, rainbow, and 4-leaf clover. It was a really fun group of cookies to ice. I know when I take one of these kits to my grandchild’s house, they will totally enjoy decorating all the cookies. The cookies can be decorated any way that you like, and the instruction cards give some amazing guidelines to show you different ways to make the cookies sparkle!

I love the results and love that this is an activity that grandmothers and grandchildren (or parents and children) can do together. The candy making kit is fun, too and will need some adult supervision.

If you want to try Gramma in a Box, now’s a great time. You can put your order in for the April box. You can try one box or subscribe for a longer period of time. You can also get a 3-month subscription and then Gramma in a Box will come to you right on time in order for you to plan a visit or let them know that they’ll be receiving a package from you very soon.
